Hello. This beautiful piece was created by Kevin Kidney & Jody Daily in honor of Disneyland celebrating the 45th anniversary of Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room, back in 2010. It is a Tiki mug or bowl, of the God of Agriculture "Rongo". Kevin and Jody modeled this piece after Master Imagineer and Disney Legend, Rolly Crump's original sculpture of Rongo, that can be seen in the pre-show garden area, of Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room. This is new old stock (NOS, new in box)
, and was first opened to photograph for this auction. Sorry some of the pictures are dark, it was very bright outside, and difficult to not get dark shadows under the bowl portion. Because of this, I have also provided a Disney stock photo (first image), to better show surface color. This piece I believe would be of great interest to Tiki mug collectors, as well as SHAG enthusiasts, for it's type of style. Thanks for looking. Shipped USPS PRIORITY MAIL.
Disney Designer Fairytale Pocahontas and John Smith. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Up for bidding is a limited edition Disney Designer Fairytale Pocahontas/John Smith dolls. The dolls come from a smoke free home and were owned by an adult collector. If you are a pristine, BNIB collector then these dolls are NOT for you. These are for the collectors who like to take the dolls out and engage with them. I am only marking them as used because they have been removed from the box for photography purposes. Their clothing has not been removed and they come with all their original items. Both dolls have matte skin tones. Pocahontas has rooted eyelashes and her hair is in its original style with the original headpiece attached. She is not wearing shoes (as pictured on the box) and comes with a reversible wrap (brown leaves on one side and turquoise satin on the other). John Smith comes with a messenger type bag. He has molded hair. The outer cardboard box has a crease on one side as shown in the pictures. These dolls have a lot of attention to detail and are gorgeous. These dolls are number 4491 of a limited edition of 6000.
